Just bought this sled I think the thermostat is broken, pulled the thermostat and it seemed to run good.
I put the thermastat in boiling water and didnt move, can you run it without a thermostat? They are about $100can from what I can find.
(Ps any Canadians know of good online parts websites?)

You can run without a thermostat, but the engine will take a long time to warm up properly. That can be an issue and possibly can lead to engine damage if the cylinders don't warm up properly with the piston. You pays your money, you takes your chances...

I'd get one and pop it in. Maybe you can take the old one to an auto parts store and find one that is the same size with similar temp settings...

Ok sounds good, should I pop it back in if I can't find one tomorrow locally?
The sled had a belt, primer pump and thermastat go today haha.
