Good morning all.

I bought my sled used knowing that the lights did not work. When I couldn't fix it, I am not a mechanic, I took it to a shop. Turns out it was a bad stator. Now I have the sled back and it starts with pull start but not with the starter. It turns over we'll but acts like it has no spark.

Thoughts? Thanks

Pull the plugs and check and see if they have spark.

If they do, chances are it simply is not turning fast enough anymore. I had a 1996 Touring E that did the same. The pull start pulls about twice as fast as the electric start turns the motor, so stronger spark and maybe overcomes questionable compression.
