I will be removing skid and replacing my track. Is there anything that I should check and replace if necessary while I am doing this? I will also be looking to replace both shocks as I know the are Bad. I am just looking for advice on things I should be looking at while I am doing this

Replace the hyfax/slides with a graphite set they last longer and are a better hyfax. Check every bearing on the bogie wheels. Usually when I do one bearing on a suspension I just do them all. Should be several of the larger ones and iirc 2-4 of the smaller ones. Those bearings can be had at amazon, ebay or any place like that in a 10 pack for around 20 bucks. Sealed bearing as well they are just held in by a snap ring. Also make sure to take out the shafts as well and remove all the old grease off of them and in the area where they slide in i.e the torque arms. There is one up front and in the rear it is where the bolts go in that mount it to the tunnel itself.
