I’m trading a set of wheels and two people have offered 1997 Vmaxx snowmobiles
1. 1997 Vmaxx 600 (4300 miles but studded track)
2. 1997 Vmaxx 500 (2700 miles)
don’t know if i should take the bigger motor and studded track over the low miles
i do NOT want to have to rebuild the motor yet
Both of those motors are solid and will live a long life. As Dan said, the extra power of the 600 is nice. I love mine. But, if you do not want to do a rebuild, go with the 500 if the rest of the sled is in good shape. It will still give you a lot of fun and will get up and run. You will just loose a few MPH on the top end compared to the 600.
Welcome
They are the same
Just a bigger bore
You can always just bore the 500 into a 600
