I BOUGHT 1997 STORM IM LOOKING TO MAKE IT ALITTLE FASTER OF THE LINE IT HAS 144 PICKS THE REST OF THE SLED IS STOCK DO REEDS WORK ? DOES CLUTCHING ? IM NERVES ABOUT GETTING REALY CRAZY BECOUSE I WONT THE SLED TO BE REALIABLE PLEASE ANYTHING WOULD HELP SOMEONE TOLD ME ABOUT REMOVING THE MUFFLER AND PUTTING ASET OF CANS ON IT AND PUTTING SOME CRAZY THING INTO THE GAS TANK IT CLEANES THE FUEL IT WELL GIVE YOU 3TO 5 HP ITS CALLED A CATALIST

I WOULD SUGGEST LEAVING IT STOCK TO RETAIN REALIABILTY, BUT A SET OF REEDS AND A LITTLE CLUTCHING WOULDN'T HURT

Stock = reliable.
Your best bet would be to look at some clutch kits. I do not have any experience with reeds, but I've heard pro's & con's. Not enough pros to do it myself.
Possibly pipe it, but then you'll have to adjust the carbs & what not to prevent lean/rich issues.

I myself am looking into some different clutch kits, nothing extreme, just something to give er' a little hang on here we go. I can let you know what I find.
