hello everyone, i am having trouble with a 1997 formula 500 carbs.
initially the sled would only start with the throttle wide open and wouldnt idle and all, so i pulled the carbs apart and cleaned them making sure to clean the pilot jet. reassembled and still same problem, i had read some where that is pilot jet is supposed to be 1 turn out so i took it apart again and left the pilot jet 1 turn out and it fired up right away, but the jet keeps falling out after awhile of it running.

So my question is if the pilot jet should the fully seated (tightened up) or back off a turn, and/or why it is running like that, is it a indication of a wrong size pilot jet?
