I also i think i need to rebuild the rear shock when i press it down its like there is sand in there its not smooth its rough very compressing do i need to rebuild it? the front ones are fine compress and rebound really smooth these are also the fox shocks. Also does anyone know the top speed on my sled on radar or Speedo?

Why'd you post twice about your machine? I gave you some pointers on your other post. Here they are again:

Do a search on XLT's on snowmobile forum, I posted a few different things about my 95 XLT Special that I just got a few weeks ago. Also polarisfiles.com is an excellent resource for Polaris info. I have similar mileage and I'm located around the corner from you in CT so we'll have to swap stories or possibly even meet up for some rides.

These links should get you started. Deycore rebuilds fox shocks for $25 plus parts...mine came to $42 with shipping because it was totally blown inside.

As far as top speed, everyone will tell you different but they should be good for 85-95 mph radar and about 90-105 on the speedo since the speedos aren't super accurate. Keep in mind that brand new sleds with 50 hp more are only doing about 5-10 mph more top end...the track and weight limit top speeds on most sleds to be around 100.....it takes a lot of hp to get to 115 like the F7's do.
