I have a 1996 Formula Z 583, I just noticed that the track started to skip when I was driving it slowly around the yard. Worn cogs or belt? Track tensions seems good and the problem goes away after I give it gas. What's next? (Don't drive it slow is not an option haha):)...Oh and there is only 2,200 miles on the sled.

I'll start with the track tension. I just noticed that the two belts underneath have slack in them, should they be adjusted as well so they are tight?

the two belts under your tunnel? those are your limiter straps. you only want to mess with those is you want to adjust how much weight your putting on your skis and how much your putting on your track. checking your chaincase isnt hard, it should be 5-7 bolts and you just take the cover off and make sure your chain is o.k and no teeth are broken on your gears.
