When I took my ZRT from the ice to the strip I just dropped 2 main jet sizes!
Then at the finish line I flip the choke on to help cool it down!
My 1000' ice was 119 and my 1000' mark asphalt was the same and 1/4 of 125 @10.4 sec
The jetting chart that I have for a 1995 XLT just says for "above 40 deg F." Go smaller in steps and test between each size to find the sweet spot. It's easy to go too lean and burn holes in the pistons. It only took me one pass across a mile long meadow to toast a piston when my sled was set too lean... test, test, test!
Learn to read spark plugs and how to check piston wash, that will be your safest (and maybe cheapest!) guide...
