I picked up a 95 xcr 600 last month and slowly started picking it apart I got it with 2 engines the original which had a hole in the block and a 97 block that was in the sled but it was blown up. I'm sticking with the 97 block I sent sent the crank out but I've heard so many different things about them blowing up. I've heard the pto bearing seizing from a lack of oil and the center cly seizing from getting air in the oil injection lines. I noticed that throughout the years they moved the oil injection lines to the bearings instead of the intake. Is there anything I should be concerned about blowing it up or will it be fine. How should I break it in? Just take it easy try not to got wide open for a long time?
