I hate when people say they have a dumb question, because no question is dumb.

But I have a dumb question LOL

I just put a new battery in my sled. Last spring I took the old one out.

I cannot for the life of me figure out where the strap hooks to on the engine side of the battery. There is a slot at the bottom of the bracket but it cant go there. Or can it?

Maybe I have had one beer too many, I dunno LOL

can someone clue me in on this?

thanks

Ah, beer and snowmobiles....awesome. I think you can just ditch that stock strap and get a nylon strap to hold it in place. Im not an old school polaris man, but im sure theres some place to hook it up. Hope this helped.

thanks for the reply,

thats what is confusing, there is nothing on that side of the battery tray.

Also, the strap is about 10" long.

I just ended up putting one end in the hook on the tray, the other end by the engine, there is a slot in the bottom of the battery tray, I hooked the strap there

it works fiine, just doesnt seem right

not going to worry about it
