Guys pls help. Carbs are cleaned twice over coils have been swapped compression is 120 per side checked for bad crank seals. Still Boggs at 3000rpm at full throttle. But if I let it die down to idle and ease into it and go full throttle it revs up
An update on my findings!
The TORS was my problem. Had to
bypass this feature and it was all there. No more bog!
What you do is splice the 2 male ends of the TORS harness connections together and your in your way.
After sitting in the woods for 6 years, I got my ‘83 Excel III running today.

Never done it before is it hard? Any tips? I ordered a cable from Parts Reloaded... the old one is still functioning, but is frayed badly with just a small strand holding it. My main concern is the rubber handle bar padding... how does that come off? Any suggestions are welcome!
