i have a 92 440 jag that wont start . it has fire and fuel but no start. it will start if i put fuel in the cylinders and if it is warm but not if it is cold. any ideas what to look for. it has a new coil and cdi .and a new needle valve and assembly. but no go.

If it starts cold by adding fuel to the cylinders, check the choke adjustment. I have a 96 deluxe and its real finicky as far as the choke setting, other than that it runs like a raped ape.

Along with a thorough carb cleaning, this is the fix.
