1972. Elan 250 Skidoo
Found this beauty in a barn 2 years ago where it was stored for 32 years. Did a lot of work on it and enjoyed every minute. I’m 74 and it’s getting a little too hard for me to handle.
Cleaned up all wiring
Cleaned fuel tank
Replaced entire fuel system Rebuilt carburetor
New fuel filter
New points and condenser
New kill switch
New ignition switch
New coil and plug wire
Repaired compression relief
Track in good shape ( I adjusted )
Bogies are good
New gear oil / greased everything
Front sprocket gears are showing wear and cracks Rear sprockets look good
$800 Madison Wisconsin. I take it up to Minoqua in northern Wi. to ice fish too if that's closer.
