Hey guys this is my first post hope you can help me out. I have a 1972 Boa SKi 440 With the Jlo engine. The problem I am having is I had a weak spark that after holding the starter it would fade until I had no spark. So I replaced the Points and condensors, New plug wires and plugs. After reassembling the whole thing I now have no spark. I have double checked everything. Could the stator be bad, Could I have messed up the ignition coils? Could I have screwed up the condensors enought when I soldered them to make it do this? Please help guys. My Dad will sell it If I cant get it going by this weekend.

Thanks Rob

You may have hurt it when soidering, but make sure nothing is crossed or in the rong place. Also did you switch up the coil? I am myself confused as to why you had no spark. The best thing you can do is call a local ski-doo dealer.

What do you mean by "switch up the coil". I myself have thought that I mught have burnt up the condensors while soldering but I really have a hard time believing that. Any other help would be greatly appreciated.
