If theres a thread about this, just post it here. I dont want to make a double post.

On my 03 rev 800 when I accelerate as smooth as I can. The drive cogs hit/slam into the track. I can twist the flywheel with one hand and rotate it back and forth and hit the rubber stops on the track. Does that mean the track is to loose?? And if so how do I tighten the track up??

If someone wants to revise my post with the right words that would be great lol. Im new to owning my sleds but not new to riding.

There should be 3/4" of space between the track and slides with a 15lb weight hanging off the track. Start there, and tighten accordingly.

Just tighten it a one turn at a time until it stops doing that, it usually ends up being about 1 1/4" space with a 15 lb weight, with the track warmed up.

3/4" is what most manuals say,but I figure less friction is better.
If you have a long track this number is sometimes not measured in the center.
