    Hello, I have a 1979 Yamaha EX440 that needs a new CDI. I tried a 1984 SRV540 CDI box that I had laying around and it doesn't seem to work right. I have spark but it doesn't start. Are the CDIs different from one another in how they signal the spark? Thanks
