OK then start simple, unplug the 4 way coming out...

OK then start simple, unplug the 4 way coming out of the motor, test for spark!
If none, jump the black and brown wires (others are yellow) and test.
Let us know what you get from there

Rebuilding is perhaps a strong word, cleaning is more correct.
When you replaced the inlet valve (needle and seat) did you set the float 'Level'?

Turn the carb upside down and blow into the inlet with a piece of hose,.
Lower the float til you can't blow and it should be 'level' with the carb body

I put that skid reworked with a few parts from a Cat and a Cat shock...
