What does everyone use for their vents on their Hood???

I have a 2000 Polaris xcf 440 edge and it needs some tlc. It is kind of ruff and one of the things I want to change is the hood vents. I would like to completely scrap the old vents and replace them with new material. So, what do you guys use??

Kind Of, but what I want to do is ditch the old screens, because they are rusted, and buy new material and make new ones, which why I am asking what people used for kind of a "budget" redo.
Thanks for the reply!!!

Paint your old ones.
