1995 yamaha phazer 2 carb linkage

Just cleaned my carbs from being mouse invaded.Put back on sled and linkage is not smooth.when throttle is released carbs are sticking closed and sled starts to rev out.

did you leave the carbs as a rack when you cleaned them? hopefully so at at this point we will assume you did.

i would unhook the cable and check to be sure its not the cause of the sticking. with the cable unhooked, you can manually activate the carbs by pressing the linkage with your finger to rule out a carb problem.

try these two things and report back.

Yes left carbs as a rack.Removed carbs again and lubed linkage rod and all parts got it to work smooth now.Put back on sled and still have fuel issues.
will see if pilot jets are plugged again and check the placement of rubber plugs.

I have had this sled for years guess it is time that I got to no it.I am mostly a dirt biker and very simaler to modern bikes
