Clarification with TORS bypass on Phazer.

I want to permanently bypass my TORS. At the CDI, I would cut the Black/Yellow wire that goes to the white two pen connector, and connect to the black ground wire coming from the CDI. Correct? Or would I be better off making the cut after the white two pen connector? Does it make a difference?

Unplug the wires from the carbs and connect the harness ends together.

Sorry I should have mentioned. At the carbs the bullet connectors are already connected. I've done reading on the net, that the cuircut is still open unless the the yellow/black is connected to the black ground. I'm at work so I will have to check tonight but I'm not sure if there are bullet connectors coming off the harness. If so then I shouldn't have to cut any wires. Just simply plug the connectors into each other?

Yep, for some reason I couldn't picture those other connectors coming off the main harness.I hadn't messed with the CDI and/or harness connections in a while so just wasn't visualizing.

Update, well ok now I know why I didn't recall seeing the connectors coming off the main harness. The previous owner already joined them, so the TORS were already bypassed. So my problem still existed. Popping and farting over 3000 rpms. Let off the throttle and it smooths out. Can ride around yard as long as you don't go over 3000 rpms. But thats boring. Ok so I tinkered for a few minutes and let sit and moved on to Phazer number two, which wouldn't start. Well at least it didn't. Pulled out of barn, pulled handle twice and she fired up, but was way too high idle, so shut down. Adjusted idle screw and restarted. Again too high, shut down and adjusted, restarted but now only running on one cyl. Anyone have suggestion where to start?

Ok so back to Phazer one. Started it and let warm up 5-7 minutes. Drove around the yard for 10-15 minutes no problems, even pulled front end off the ground. So I'm chaulking this one up to bad gas..??? maybe!!

Running on one cylinder is often just a fouled plug.

It was gettin late in the day and I was tired of messing with both sleds. It was time to walk away, but a few hours later I did think about that as a possible problem. Which leads me to next question. Is there honestly a big difference in Br9es NGK plugs at $3.00 and brand X at $10.99 ? I have had off and on luck with the NGK cheapies.

When buying plugs, I always make sure that I get the ones with the solid top rather than the screw on cap. Those always seem to have more issues with fouling or misfiring due to the cap unscrewing or even stripping.
