Need opinions on a possible trade

Looking at possibly trading for a '98 Yamaha Venture 2 up 600 triple with electric start and reverse. Not sure on the miles yet. Looking for input on what are the ups and downs on this unit. Thanks.

They are very comfortable to ride , nice sleds, the biggest factor on a used sled is how well someone took care of it. I would change the chain case oil before you ride it too much.

the 98 would be a twin in the 600. 99 would have the triple. the triples are essentially bulletproof and well known to be. the 600 is basically a choked down 700.

you may find it a bit underpowered depending on what your used to. stock track sucks.

I appreciate the input, but the deal fell through. The guy wanted to trade for my '97 Indy 500, but he also wanted $800 on top. His other offer was a cash purchase of $1400. The sled had 7500 miles and the drive chain was skipping. I decided to walk.
