Any thoughts on this machine? I am brand new to the sled world. I kinda jumped on this machine because of all the 2-up options. The sled looks very well maintained, needs a track and sliders, I havent driven it yet,(expecting a snow storm tonight ) It starts fine and idles fine. I bought it for 1400 Canadian. Anything I should know or watch out for with this machine?
closely inspect the primary clutch, every twin i have had were known to be hard on rollers and bushings. annual cleaning is a must on those to prolong the life.
i have had some issue with the recoil mounts. keep an eye on the bolts securing it and watch for cracks in the housing around the bolts.
beyond that should be a rock solid sled. keep the carbs clean, run good gas and enjoy.
