Hi, everyone i have a 1997 yamaha vmax 700sx it ran great last year put it away for the summer just uncovered it to get it ready for this winter would not start got fuel no spark i need any kind of help if anyone knows what it could be Thanks

besides the obvious like key switch is on, kill switch is up, does the sled happen to have a safety tether? cycle the switches a few times and recheck spark.

i have experienced a few cases where the stators just die for no apparent reason, not unlike your situation.

any signs of rodent activity? they like to chew on the wires for some reason. check the wire connection on the carbs as well.

thanks i checked every wire and connection played with all switchs still no spark im lost never had this happen to me out of all the years i've been on a sled

by pass the tors switch for testing purposes only. unplug the bullet connectors leading to the carbs from the main harness and plug them back into themselves.

from there, you need to test the stator.
