05 Viper 700 boging
I have a 05 YAMAHA Viper. Its a 700 2 stroke 3cyl. And sometimes when I am going over 45 ill let off the gas then pin it imediatly. Then it will bog continusly and slow down and manetain a speed of 45mph. To stop it I have to stop or let the rpm drop below 3000. When the sled is acting up and doinf this I can make it happen. My dad took it to a dealership for a tuneup and they said they fixed it but it had this problem the second ride. Has any one herd of this promlem before do you have any idea how to fix it? It has less than 500 miles on it and started having this problem when it was pritty new.

is your dcs light flashing or is your gauge flashing a code?
could be the throttle cable is too tight activating the tps or your running lousy fuel activating the dcs.

theres an inline adjuster on the cable. yours should be about 6" down from the flipper under a rubber cover. there is also another down at the carb rack. yours is the one cable into two configuration, correct?

yes it is. But this sounds more like a carberater problem, like one of the slides is not opening all the way. Are you shrue that it's the throtle cable?

Look at the carbs, there are a pair of wires that attach to magnetic sensors.
Unplug these and connect the plugs coming from the harness together to over ride the TORS.

what was different? have you re-fueled? (perhaps a different supplier)were the temps warmer?
try and think about what conditions/factors have changed and you may find some insight as to your problem.
