Question a large circle in which, or how to make chain tensioning mechanism? Orginal chain tensioning mechanism was broken( it is yellow in picture ) ..
What kind of plastic used there?

It is a hard plastic.
You should be able to order one.

you could also duplicate one from uhmw if you have access to a chunk thick enough. biggest i have ran across is 3/4", may or may not be thick enough.
