Carbides

Hey guys I have a question about carbides. I just bought some 6 inch for my SX and the package say some modification to the ski such as drilling my have to be done for a proper fit. However, I will literally have to drill 3 new holes to make it fit. It's not even close and the guy swears he sold me the right ones. Does this sound right to anyone?

Yeah stock skis's. I did some on my srx and they fit just fine. The guy pointed out that the package says on steel skis some modification may be necessary and that I probably didn't have to mod the srx skis cause they are plastic. I'll just have to take them back and talk to someone else I guess cause I don't think he knows what he's talking about.

I had to drill new holes in my skis to fit carbides on my indy trail, at least once you drill the holes you can buy the same carbides again....

Doesn't sound right. Get ones that match your hole pattern.
