Loudest can for single pipe triples?
I have a Hauk Racing "Hurricane" pipe on my XT 700 Triple. This thing screamed from the moment I put it on, and I can't wait till I have a couple thousand miles on it. It's already louder than my friends Bender can with 7,000+ miles. What do you guys think?

I personally love the sound of loud pipes coming down the lake but i dont know if i could stand riding a sled with loud pipes on it all day! Hows the trails up in Rangely? Did you go to the Sno-Deo?

Hell yeah I went to Snodeo hahaha. RX-1 with a Bender Stage 3 Turbo Kit did 118mph. But the trails suck. I wish you guys from Westbrook and Mass. would bring some snow up for our trails haha. They're really good riding but low on snow. Let me know if you come up we'll go ride on the weekend. By the way, no harsh feelings about the pipes guys, just wanted to know about opinions.

yeah, i know what you're saying. usually a person will say they dont like loud pipes, then a bunch of people jump on them, then people come to supprt the original person, and it has gotten pretty crazy.
my problem with them is that a lot of trails have been closed because people buzz houses late at night, and our club gets in trouble when it's not us.

Yah I did see an F7 Nightfire. It had like chrome accents too, and there was an orange one with chrome accents. Didn't do too bad in the drag, but tore it up when we raced in the town cove.

Yep, i know who this is. My friend was up there and he said that Justin Verril, The guy on the nightfire got like second in his class or something. That sled is sick! And he is a great rider too!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Loud pipes are the number one cause of trail closures. People should stop thinking of only themselves and put the sport first. We are only going to lose more trails in the future. Lets not give landowners an extra reason to close our trails down.

i don't know about you guys down in the US but up here in Canada that's not the case (and don't be quoting the Quebec issue either).....loud pipes are a scape goat. The number one cause is stupid drivers! The guys who drive their loud pipes at midnight across peoples fornt yards, the guys that drive 100 kmh in 50kmh zones, the guys the drink and sled an end up killing themselves and than their families suing the landowner or club for improper signage etc....

To each his own I guess. Personally I can't stand the loud exhausts. Might as well put a Honda Civic tag on the side...

Yeah even in Maine not one trail has been closed down because of pipes. Up here the louder the cooler. The louder the better. I would feel bad if that was the case here, but I was just wondering because here everyone loves loud pipes, and every one turns a head when they hear a loud exhaust.

Loud and proud!
But when you live in Saskatchewan on a farm its not a big deal! In my local town they have a by-law about loud sleds. Never heard of anyone getting ticketed though.. You can make a loud sled pretty quite by staying off the gas til you get out of town too.

It sounds like they're the kind of people who will get your trails closed.

thats is the normal trend on one of these inst it?
i ask people who think the average sled is loud about harleys, and they just sort of stutter then give up. like this one kid who told me his grandpa set up trpas so the sleds would get stuck. turns out, he didnt even let the riders know they couldnt ride on his property. so i told him his grandpa was an idiot, and we got into the loudness EDIT: argument...

Harley's come out of the factory as quiet as a honda. Then the usually put screaming eagle pipes to get the noise when you buy the and there some of them that are really loud but my motto is loud pipes save lives!!!
