RX 1 exhaust sound

Has anyone heard one of these sleds run? Do they sound good? The dual rear exit looks cool.

i think they're stretching it with Johhny Skeptical... like, every one that doesnt have a 4 stroke has a sled from the 60's...

i cant believe he abandoned his sled for that rx-1! here i thought he would stick with his, and he goes and buys one of those heavy liquid cooled sled with their good suspensions, and better performance! he's right- their suspension sounds complicated, itll never work. leaf springs are the way to go, i've decided. thanks Johhny Skapetical!

lmfao. you do know that carbon monoxide is colorless and odorless right? hahaha

Thats one reason its so dangerous

i guess he smelled the exhaust fumes, and got all dizzy then...

see, us skidoo riders have senses supior to that of the normal person's. we smell out restaraunts from miles away, that how we decide where we're gonna eat!

i went to the radar runs yesterday and there was a couple rx-1's there and they sounded awsome. They also beat every other sled that was in the radar run.

here is some times in the thousand foot radar runs

RX-1- 78 mph
Fusion 900- 74 mph
Sno pro 440- 52 mph
Ski doo rev- 64 mph
firecat (F7)- 61 mph

the guy that said it was spitting carbon monoxide is crazy. the RX-1 burns far cleaner than 2-strokes. truth be told, i have 2 riding friends that have them and i smell nothing. he said he was back some also? i don't think so.

again as I posted above. You are not going to smell carbon monoxide being colorless and odorless.

Just trying to help you gives live longer lol

huh...

maybe there was a problem with the rx-1 or it was a new engine or something. but, if you think about it, cleaner or not, the exhaust goes to the back, so you may be able to smell it better than a sled where the exhaust is aimed down and at the front.

or, maybe, he's killed too many brain cells in other ways...

Call it what you want, but you can smell them. I just spent 4 days riding with 2 RX1's. They are especially bad when they first fire up they shoot the exhaust right in your face and it dont smell pretty. I still prefer it over a 2 stroke smell though. They do sound good and go fast. They get the same milage as my 600 triple, about 13 mpg (Imperial gallon)

was this run on snow, or ice? speeds are pretty slow if it was on ice, and were studded.
