VMAX 600.....Rear shock

Just back into sleddin since I was 14..........36 now! Just purchased a 96 vmax 600 yahma 2 up....... since I have lots to catch up on.....can anyone tell me if its normal for the back end to lower and not rise to its origina position after getting off......IS THIS NORMAL??

It depends. Once you get off it, pick up the rear end. If its just a couple inches, thats normal. Its built in slack so the skid drops over a bump, instead of the whole snowmobile. Now if its more than a cpl inches or 3, then it could mean its time to replace a spring down below.

First start by greasing the suspension, that may solve the problem.
