Go to your local Yamaha dealer and pickup a puller. They're like $25 or so.A big three jaw would be big trouble.

Hey I have another one to throw at you...Also on the 700sx i put the bender pipe and the clutch kit and boysen reeds. My Question is will I have to adjust the carbs in any way? The reed instructions said to turn the miture screw in 1/4 to 1/2 turns. I am basicaly wondering if the pipe and clutch will add to the adjustments?
Thanks snow man ran.

torque spec is actually 85ft lbs, initial. then loosen bolt and retorque to 43ft lbs. as for the spring and spacer, remove the old spring and put the spacer under the new spring. bender springs are based on the short cover primary, and yours should be that cover, you may not need the spacer- let bender confirm or deny. as for your carbs, be darn sure you watch the plug color or check the piston wash, as pipes and reed changes will affect fuel mixtures.
