V-max 700 vs SRX 700

just wondering what the differences were between the two sleds. performance, weight, suspension, trail vs race use, etc.

Or are they the same thing and I'm just an idiot?

really not a lot of difference the vmax is geared slightly lower the the srx but other than that they are pretty much the same sled.

The Srx is a powervalve motor making atleast 30hp more than the vmax.
Suspension is the same on both. The srx is a great lake racer. Both flat corner very well but not good in the bumpy stuff

The 700 vmax motor is also a power valve motor the only difference between the two setups is the taller gearing in the srx.

The V-Max and the SRX are two totally different sleds. I think they only thing that is interchangable is the rear suspension. The engines are COMPLETELY different. Blocks are different, V-Max is a single carb, single pipe engine, SRX has three carbs and three pipes.... has about 30-35 horsepower more then the V-max. Both sleds ride pretty good, the SRX handles probably a little better then the V-max.
