My friend has a pair of like new condition RX1 skiis, we want to put them on his 95 yami vmax 4, someone I met once told me there is a place or company that can make an adapter plate or mounting bracket to use these skiis, anybody know of such a place?

You dont need anything but what you have. I could tell you but its simpler if you go to totallyamaha.com, go to tech section, then to ski's and front suspension, then adding RX-1 ski's to a Pogo. I did this to my vmax 96xt and it turned out awesome.
