99 VMax 700 Top speed?

Does anyone have an idea as to the top speed of a 99 Vmax 700? Indicated or radar.I'm really curious as I havent had a chance to try mine out yet. Also what would the performance difference between this sled and the 99 SRX? Thanks

I've had my buddy's up to about 105mph. that's pretty close to top speed. There's a pretty big difference between the SRX and the SX. bout 30-35 horsepower. The SRX has triple carbs and triple pipes. The V-max only has single carb and single pipe. I believe the use the same rear suspension, but i think there's a little more adjustability with the rear suspension. SRX handles a little better. The SRX will probably get closer to like 120mph, it's geared a little higher then the SX.

Yeah, i forgot that it did have 3 carbs but only 1 pipe. Does anyone make a triple pipe kit for it?

I don't know, you could probably source something through Hauck powersports if you really wanted. There is always someone to take your money if you have it. I'm going to leave these two machines stock and look for a 2002 srx with low mileage or a 2008 Apex GT LTX 40th anniversary as the retro styling puts me back to my wild and crazy machine days (now just crazy) thanks..

My buddy has a 2001 SRX and we went out riding one day. Had a drag race between the SRX and his 06 Apex. the SRX actually out accelerated the Apex. The SRX is, and always will be a bad ass machine.
