Viper 700 Motor questions

I have a 2002 yamaha viper 700(OK, OK, its a 696) with a blown up motor. The center cylinder piston cracked and overheated the cylinder.

My question is: Is there any difference in the cylinders? I have a chance to buy a very, very good used cylinder off of a guy, but are the cylinders different? By that I mean do i have to buy a centre cylinder(meaning that particular cylinder will ONLY go in the centre), or can I buy any cylinder for that motor to replace just my centre one...??

If anybody is confused by this question, I think its just how I wrote it...

Oh, and if anybody else has a cylinder and piston for sale, let me know your price!
