01 Srx

I have a guy who wants to trade my current sled (99 XLT touring), for his 01 SRX. Looking for pro's and con's (if any cons) of this sled. A friend of mine had one for a while, it was a rocket!! Let me know, thanks.

I was looking at an 01 srx triple for $1600, and the guy says compression is at 90 all around. Isnt that low? I dont know much about triples.

Test it yourself, he might not have done it right.

now he says with WOT its 120 120 and 90...

So thats gonna need a rebuild, eh?

I saw the beautiful sled, under 3500 miles, and kind of low price compared to its $2300 retail, so I had to email him.

Hes like 1.5 hours away, thank god I didnt check it out.

Trade + cash maybe? It's a nice sled... if he gave you the cash to fix it I'd take it.

Sorry stealth for stealing your post.. TwinsofMLB, I just had a question, but its stealth who is asking for pros and cons. Stealth, have you checked the compression on his SRX? If its in perfect running order, I would make the trade in a heart beat.
