Replacing Crank Seals

Just wondering if anyone could tell me how to replace the crank seals on my 1984 Yamaha Phazer? Thanks.

Take the engine completely apart. Remove oil pump drive gear from crank. Replace seals. Put gear back on crank. Re-assemble engine. It's that simple.

Are there two seals on that side? Or just one? I have the motor stripped down and just want all new gaskets and seals on. Thanks for the help!

Yes, two seals on that side. The outer seal is NOT a crank seal. Take the crank out to get to the other seal.
