i would probably buy a 4-stroke cuz they are more reliable but there arent many cheap used ones yet
a 4stroke snowmobile more reliable, ha! theres a reason polaris ski doo and AC are still making 2 strokes, even tho tree huggers aka the epa or 'some other set of letters' are going to force them to make 4 strokes with new emmision laws.

That kind of sucks for those of us living and riding where a piece of flex hose is an acceptable and legal (no emission or noise laws on Wyoming public land yet!) replacement for the old can/pipe in your trail sled.

Life is what you make it. If you don't make it, that's life.
I love my two stroke but my parents have a warrior and an apex gt and i love riding them. its just a new animal to me no better no worse just different. I love both styles, but i will never sell the SRX.
4 stroke only has a bit of enomy and no smell in it's corner. the weight in my neck of the woods will kill you getting stuck in a ditch somewhere. you can get power but at what cost?
for all those 4 stroke lovers go ahead but I'll stay with the 2 stroke until I can't run it anymore.
PS yammi's 4 strokers look like bugs, i mean how much uglier can they get.
I started out with a Arctic cat zr 580 2-stroke. That thing was the biggest piece of junk so I went out and bought a 2009 phazer RTX. The arctic cat was probably faster but the phazer has power everywhere. I wont ever go back to a 2 stroke sled.
