2003 Yamaha SX Viper 700 Triple help!!

i have a 2003 yamaha sx viper 700 triple. I am looking to strengthen the rear suspension on it, also would like to make it higher up off the ground, how would i go about doing this? what kind of tool would i need? i noticed on the bottom shock it has a weird lookin thing that can twist and such

what would i need to tighten/loosen to go about doing this?

also one of the front bars got bent, on the sled where it branches off to the skies there are 2 bars on each side, the tie-rod bar and another one, one on top of another. I am not sure of the bottom one is a tie-rod bar because it doesnt have a tie-rod bolt onto it

Here is a picture of the same sled i have, except mine is red, with the part of it circled in red:

about how much would just that part alone cost? along with having it put on

also how much would a new snowflap cost, and a new rear bumper bar? as well as labor to have them replaced since they are also damaged

Thank You

Why do you want to raise the back?
That "funny thing" on the rear shock is the FRA. You set it according to the rider weight.
I know that the middle postion is 160 to 185 lbs.
