Zero Tolerance

New to this site and after spending about 5 hours reading and not finding my answeri decided to post my question. I have been getting conflicting advise on proper secondary setting on my 89 Exciter (just sold it to my friend), from no preload to 1 and a half turn etc. I have also read on a diffrent forum that i should be setting the spring in the A2 position and wind to 50 degrees. Is this the proper stock setting? My sled is stock and has been parked for 8 years, i have cleanned the carbs but am having clutching problems most likly related to my secondary. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
