no top end

Hi, I have a 83 srv, My sled was going pretty good early in the season but now when I open it up it's like it has a governor on it and won't go over 6000 rpm. Any Ideas?

Thank You

Problem with the carbs. Remove and clean them using carb cleaner spray and compressed air.

The SRV has a butterfly carb, if that is what you call it. Enjoy, it is a PIA to get it out! Also, if there is a wire connected to your carb, disconnect it. There is a site dedicated to SRV's. I would highly suggest asking them.
