Modding the suspension on a SRX700

Hello fokes on a wonderful monday morning. I am really considering modding my SRX suspension into a long track. First thoughts? I buried her this weekend and really got me to think of getting a long track on it. I also thought about just going with a long track sled but there are not many tripples especially like the SRX that are in a long track besides the mountainmax. I have scoped out some prices and for the tunnel and rail extensions I am looking at about $210... Is that a good price for new stuff? Will that motor have a hard time turning a 136 or 144in track? What would you suggest going with a 136 or 144? Prices are the same for each. Except the track of course.

That motor turns the tracks on the mountain max with ease, so no worries that way. Consider finding a suspension from a mountain max and putting it in the SRX that way you will have a better trail suspension. And remember the longer the track the more stuck you could get.

Just a question to ask. Having a long track dont that help you in the case of getting stuck in the powder because of the weight transfer? That is a great idea with the mountainmax suspension, but isnt that only a 136? I am getting carried away with this idea.

What I was saying is if your not carefull you can get yourself into some tight situations and get yourself more stuck. Not sure about the 136 though. Did Yamaha not make a 144" mountain max?
