Hey i have an 01 srx 700 triple i have rode it all this season and it runs beautiful. i have noticed that there has been a little bit of mixed fuel under the sled so i pulled the air box off. The inside of the box was slightly covered in fuel. With the sled running all three carbs spray a little bit of fuel in the air box. Does anybody know what might cause this or if it is normal. any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you Devon

I believe all three carbs are attached to a common vent,don't know if that could be problem. plowking

hey when you say vent what do you mean like the overflow of the carbs...? im not really sure it like its not burning all the fuel and sprayin back into the air box

I meant overflow,is it running out of them? You said it runs good which puzzles me. The reeds should only open in one direction so compression wouldn't push gas out of carbs. Are there any breathers, other lines attached to airbox. My son-in-law has a 01 srx, he's gone sleddin' ,so I can't ask him. plowking

hey thanks it would be great if you could ask them your right they do have a common overflow but its not coming out of there. There are no real breathers it just an open box. i took it right off so just the carbs are showin and it does the same thing spray out the back of them.....thanx again devon
