Submerged 1991 Br250 Lt

Hey, my brother in law submerged my bravo in a river for about an hour. Since then after getting it in a warm shed have changed the fuel, drained the lines, and cleaned the carb. A crazy amount of ice out of the carb.
It starts now really good first pull but gets really bogged down at half throttle and a bogged down a lot quicker if there is any resistance like deep snow.
Any ideas of what to do next, could the coil be wet and not producing enough spark? Went through about 5 plugs getting it to this point. Thanks a lot for any help.

Did you drain the fuel tank? Also you will need to change the chaincase oil. You'll probably just need to run it to get the rest of the water out of it. Pour some dry gas in with the fuel too.

You didnt mention the engine block. Did you get all the water out of the crank case? Take it for a good long run, it is imperative that all of the water in the engine is gone and a long run should accomplish that.

thx for the replies, I have drained the tank but not the oil, will do that now. I think all the water is out of the crank case.
Do you think I should change the fuel filter too?

I finally have it running full power again, but a new problem is the speedometer. Any ideas on what could be the problem? Thanks for any help.
