Apex MTN problem??

Hey guys

I just bought a 2006 Apex MTN with 1000km on it, i thought it was a pretty good deal

My neighbour has the regular Apex and his wont start when it gets cold (even tho he has a block heater). I was wondering if i should expect that problem as well and if so is there somthing i can do to stop it??

Thanks

I have a 03 RX1 and had never had an issue with cold starting -23,sometimes the relays on the side of the battery box gets snow in there and freezes in between the fuse and contact lead causing a no start situation.Remove fuses apply di-electric grease should be no worries after that. When not in use keep battery on a 2 amp trickle charger,Battery tender jr is what I have been using now for 4 years starts every time.
