Question 2004 SXViper "S" rear suspension

Basically it bottoms out too much on the bumps and I want to see if I could adjust so it doesnt happen as often. So I need to know how to adjust it. I think it's got a quick adjust rear suspension in it. and I'm not much of a sled mechanic so I dont wanna touch it without asking for a little advice first.

Did you get the owners manual with the sled?If you did it explains how to adjust the suspension starting on Page 8-22.It is not the easiest suspension to adjust.Could also be that your shocks need to be rebuilt.I think they recommend very 3K miles although mine have never been done.I did have the updated shocks installed at the dealer, rode with them for a season and then went back to the originals.I liked the way the original shocks handled, but they were a bit stiffer.

I think my owners manual has a case of "opps I forgot it in the trunk and it got all wet and moldy" . I don't think the shocks are bad 1500+/- miles on it(bad winters). Idunno I'll look into it this weekend when I'm home in the daylight. maybee I'll find my owners manual. If I can't I'll see if I can pick up a new one.

A buddy of mine had a manual with a video from Yamaha just for the suspension, but I don't know if you can still get them. You would have to ask your local Yamaha Stealer.
