Ski wear

I went through my little Ovation year before last and rebuilt the skis with new carbides, it didn't get much use with the lack of snow! I just brought it in because it was getting hard to turn. There not only was NO wear rod at all left, but gapping holes in the bottom of the skis!!! Like it had 5000 miles or more on std non carbide bars??? It can't have 200 miles! What could possibly worn this sooo fast. This is just an in the yard sled!!

Does the Ovation have the front limiter strap/s near the front of the track suspension? If it does, check to see if the limiter strap is as short as it will go. If it is there may be too much weight on the skis causing them to wear quickly. Try lengthening the strap. May steer a bit different but shouldn't wear the skegs as fast. Also check ski alignment
