Help Identify sled motor please

I have a sigle cylinder yamaha motor. can any one help me identify it
Serial # is S246-030708
I wouls like to know the CC's maybe HP and year maybe where to get a manual for it. thank you for any help you may give!!!

I believe thats an old Enticer 250? Fan coolled from like 78-85? Good motor only quirk was it would crack the intake at the block.
The only other single would be a 300 liquid out of an Inviter! 89-92

you had a gp246 back in 74, gs250 in 76 then in 77 thru 81 was enticer 250. then 82 thru the 90,s was the bravo 250. on your carb somewhere is a prefix number something like 8r4, i think stamped on flange where it bolts to the cylinder,find that and it will tell you what model and year,thats if it is correct carb

I have found what apears to be 0C08 on the carb. doues that tell anything?

yamaha,s usually started with a 8. im wondering if this engine might have come from a sno-jet maybe?sno-jet used to use yamaha engines. keep looking on carb. where did you find that #?

i found that # on the carb flange. but i will look again. if it helps any it has a weird (or weird to me) out put shaft. it is splined where it goes into the clucth. I thought it should be short, stubby and tapered.
