Heated grips for 1991 Phazer II

Can anyone reccomend some heated grips for a yamaha phazer II? A google search brings up several different kinds. Does Yamaha make them? My sled does not have a battery. Will they do any damage to the electrical system? Thanks

You do not need a battery to use them.
Yamaha does not make them, you can buy the kit from a catalog and install it yourself.

Are you sure it doesnt already have them? I used to have a '90 Phazer II and it had heated grips. The toggle switch for them was on the underside of the handlebar cover.
If you dont have them, just go here: DennisKirk.com - Snowmobile - Handlebars & Controls
You can also just go to your local dealer and have them order you a set from Parts Unlimited.
