Again, I'm new to the snowmobile world. I've been reading through various yamaha forums and have seen "TORs" listed many times. What are people talking about? I'm guessing it has something to do with the wires going into the carb, for which I don't know what those do.

This is your throttle over ride system. If your throttle sticks, the engine will automatically shut down. It's a safety feature.
